Right, so, some Sunday morning, i was having late breakfast with the family, (because we really relax on Sundays), and some song from one of these stations that play gospel music from 6am to midday on Sundays, played a song by a famous Nigerian singer, Sinach 'never late' " He's not a late God, He never failed anyone i know," the song kept playing on. I didn't notice it at first. I was on my phone. Later in the day, i kept humming the tune, trying to figure out the lyrics and coming up with my own (don't we all). Bottom line, those were straight facts. God is never late! I think everyone could attest to that. I'm not even going to talk about other people's testimonies. I want you to look at your own life.

There has to be, not once or twice, but multiple instances, where it seemed like something is taking too long to happen. Minor or major. There's something right? Has you feeling stagnant, low-key drained, because it is draining to wait for something that isn't happening. Even more so, when its all you want.

Some people end up feeling frustrated and angry at the world and God. Others feel undeserving of what they're asking for, and this in turn, reduces their motivation. Others feel like they're being punished. Others feel all this at once. Then boom! depression and anxiety. Then it gets worse because you can't talk to anyone about it. Our culture doesn't allow us to create an environment comfortable enough for us to talk about our "feelings," for those who do are "weak." Thank God it's a dying culture.

What if you are on the right track anyway? What if, what you asked for is actually on its way to you? What if, that period of waiting is necessary for you to grow into the person needed to handle whats coming? What if, what's coming is more than what you asked for, because #confession; you deserve way much more than you give yourself credit for.

Then the key must be in mastering the art of patience. For this to happen

1. You need to clean out the enormous mass of mental and emotional rubbish (yes! rubbish!) that clutters your mind. You need to learn how to select your thoughts the same way you select your clothes everyday. This is a power you can cultivate. If you want to control things in your life, work on controlling your mind. In most cases, that is the only thing you should be controlling.

2. You need to believe in yourself. My God! who else would believe in you if you don't believe in yourself? Believe that you are worthy of everything that is good in the world. Walk toward the good in life, and one day, you will arrive.

Now, you've come along way young warrior. Everything that you've asked for, and so much more, is on it's way to you right now! Please be patient. God's timing is perfect. GOD IS NEVER LATE!

BELIEVE!
